Summer Camps

One Week Camps, Grades 1-3 & 4-6
Monday-Friday 9am-3pm, Extended Care 8am-6pm

$449 Weekly​

2026 Summer Camp Registration is NOW OPEN! 

 

—Welcoming Campers entering Grades 1-3 & 4-6 in Fall 2026. Campers are split by these grade groups.

—In-Person Camps at our Birmingham, MI location: 9am-3pm daily, Monday-Friday.

—Extended care available from 8-8:50am & 3:15-6pm for an additional cost (see FAQ). No pre-registration.

—Campers bring a lunch and two snacks each day. There are no food restrictions.

—All other materials are provided by The Robot Garage.

LEGO Masters: Pokémon Camp

Campers will recreate the vibrant world of Pokémon in real life by building & programming Pokémon-themed robots as well as 'Mon inspired LEGO builds, structures, and more! Older campers will collaborate on a giant LEGO display to recreate locations within the game along with smaller buildings, decorations, and wild Pokémon provided by younger campers. Each group will also build and program LEGO robots inspired by in-game Pokémon moves, game mechanics, and so much more. Gotta catch 'em all!

Video Game Coding Camp

Campers who love to play video games will have the opportunity to code their very own and take them home to continue the fun! Campers in Grades 1-3 will use Scratch while campers in Grades 4-6 will use GameMaker to complete playable coding projects, as well as build & program gaming-inspired LEGO robots. No previous coding experience required!

Minecraft Camp

Campers will bridge their love of the game with the real world by creating robotic and architectural LEGO builds inspired by their favorite locations, mobs, and more! Older campers will collaborate on a giant LEGO display to recreate locations within the game along with decorations provided by younger campers. Each group will also participate in daily Minecraft sessions: learn to code in Lua using the ComputerCraft mod, play minigames, and more—no previous experience is required!

Battle Bots Camp

Campers will learn all about robotics and engineering at our Battle Bots Camp, inspired by the hit show! Each day will involve building & programming LEGO robots using WeDo 2.0 (Grades 1-3) and Spike Prime (Grades 4-6). Campers will also have to complete daily engineering challenges with a partner using limited resources—encouraging teamwork and creative thinking. No previous robotics experience is required!
