Advanced Robotics

(Grades 4-8)

About Advanced Robotics

Our advanced robotics program is designed in-house and recognizes that students in grades 4-8 are ready to problem solve and think creatively, but need a strong robotics foundation to do so successfully.  Our LEGO Mindstorms Robotics program starts with a 6 week Fundamentals class where students are introduced to the basics (coding, gear ratios, mechanical building, engineering vocabulary).  Once they complete Fundamentals, they are ready to advance to the Challenge class.  The challenge class is a studio setting, where experienced teachers help students to realize their ideas through trial and error.  The majority of Challenge students continue to work through the different levels for 1 to 2 years, in what quickly becomes a home-away from home for them.

Advanced Robotics classes are only available In-Person at this time.

In-Person Class Registration

New students register for a 6-week Fundamentals class for $198, and then advance to Robotic Challenges where

returning students pay $99 monthly to work through our many challenges.

What Our Students Are Saying

"The most valuable part of this workshop was the time given to programming a robot. I’ve been on a team for a year and nobody ever taught me how easy this could be."

Frequently asked questions

Does my child need prior LEGO Robotics knowledge?

Nope! Our classes operate on a progressive basis. Fundamentals introduces students of all skill levels to the basics of robotic engineering, and then progressively encorporates more to each weekly session. By the end of the six week session, all students are equipped with the knowledge to enroll in our Robotic Challenges courses, where they will apply everything they've learned to overcome the trial-and-error process of robotic engineering.
