LEGO Masters: Ninjas on Vacation
Winter Break One-Day Camp
Even ninjas need a break! Inspired by the hit show LEGO Masters, this camp invites students to work together using our vast LEGO collection to design a beach resort worthy of the most skilled ninjutsu warriors. Campers in Grades 4-6 will have the creative freedom to design and build their dream resort, while younger campers in Grades 1-3 will contribute to the massive display by completing staff-guided LEGO builds. Also, each group will build and program their very own ninja-themed robot!

Video Game Coding
Winter Break One-Day Camp
Calling all gamers! Level up at The Robot Garage by learning to code your own video game using Scratch (Grades 1-3) or Gamemaker (Grades 4-6)! While students get to complete coding a video game project that they get to take home after this day camp, they'll also be building and programming game-inspired LEGO robots. Tap into your child's love of video games and computers with this camp—no previous coding experience required.
Note: roughly half the day is spent on screens split up by hands-on activities to help campers understand the bridge between the virtual & physical world.

Camp FAQ:

Can my child take their project(s) home?
At this time students' projects remain at The Robot Garage at the end of the day. However, we encourage you to take lots of pictures and continue exploring concepts learned during camp at home. If you are interested in a LEGO robotics kit for self-paced learning, check out our video subscription classes here.
What does my child need to bring?
Each camper will need a lunch, water bottle, and 2 snacks for the day. The Robot Garage is not an allergy-free facility though, so if you have concerns about your child's specific allergies we will do our best to accommodate. All students wash their hands before & after meal times, and tables are wiped down between meals and workshops.
How much does extended care cost?
Before care is a flat cost of $15 for drop off any time between 8 AM - 8:50 AM.
After care runs from 3 PM to 6 PM for $15 an hour (we round up to the nearest half-hour). There is a $15 minimum.

Do I have to pre-register for extended care?
There is no need to pre-register for extended care. You may drop off your child for before care starting at 8AM. If you plan to use aftercare, please let us know at drop-off. Extended care fees may be paid at the front desk when you pick up your child from camp.
